All of students understand the trend in physical properties of alkanes. They can explain very well the relationship of each alkanes with the factors influence the melting and boiling points. At first students get confuse in drawing the substitution reaction of alkanes. Teacher shows several examples and finally they understand better. Today's objective is achieved.
