Reflection

At first, teacher recalls the lesson on ionic compound to make them clearly defined and able to differentiate between covalent and ionic bond. Luckily students still remember the concepts of ionic bond and able to draw the electronic configuration and Lewis Structure for the compound given by teacher. Some of them get confused with the single, double and triple bond. Teacher gives several examples and only then they are able to draw the structure properly.

Reflection

Only some of the students still remember the previous lesson regarding ionic bond and covalent bond. Teacher has to reinforce back the knowledge to help them recall their memory on that subtopic. Students have no problems during discussion on the properties of ionic and covalent bond. They refer to the textbook and give the answers when ask by teacher. Teacher evaluate their understanding by instruct students to do Paper 2 questions in their workbook. Students discuss among themselves and teacher monitors them.
