All of students show their interest towards today's experiment. 5 groups repeat the experiment A because they unable to capture the soot due to the distance of filter paper and the flame. Students are able to give correct answer for discussion questions and also able to calculate the percentage of Carbon in hexane and hexane. Students also can differentiate between hexane and hexane when it goes to reaction with bromine and acidified potassium manganate (VII) solution.

Reflection

Today's objective is achieved because all of the students are able to determine the empirical formula for magnesium. The experiment going smooth, all of them follow the procedure properly. 7 of the students ask teacher regarding calculation of empirical formula because they already forgot the step in determining the empirical formula. Students are able to give the correct answer for discussion part without help by teacher.

Hanya seorang pelajar yang berjaya menjawab semua soalan dengan betul. Pelajar yang lain tidak berjaya memilih maksud simpulan bahasa yang bersesuaian dengan ayat. Kebanyakan mereka mendapat salah 5 dan ke bawah. Guru bagaimana pun menerangkan kembali maksud setiap simpulan bahasa tersebut.

Reflection

All of students are able to differentiate between the formation of ionic bond and covalent bond. However, during drawing the formation of covalent bond, teacher discovers that 5 of the students are slow and unable to do it properly. Teacher gets them into group and guides them properly. The thing that they really hard to do is when come to formation of double and triple bond. They seem very weak in order to complete the sharing and count the electrons that have to be shared. Teacher explains again with examples to make them understand better. Finally all of them are able to do the exercises given with correct answers. Today's objective is achieved.
