Reflection

Today's objectives are achieved. All of students are able to give correct names of ester when teacher shows structural formula. At first, about 15 of the students get confuse how to gives names and draw the structural formula of reactant and also product for esterification process. Teacher explains and shows several examples to get them understand better. Finally students understand well and can give correct answers for drawing and naming of the compound. Students also are able to describe uses of ester based on their daily life experiences.

Semua pelajar berusaha mengeja semua perkataan yang diberikan oleh guru dengan betul. Walaubagaimana pun tiada seorang yang dapat mengeja semua perkataan dengan betul. Secara purata, pelajar mendapat betul 45 daripada 50 perkataan yang diberikan oleh guru.

Only 10 of the students complete all the exercises. And only 5 of the students participate well during discussion. The others are still confused with their own answer. Teacher reinforces them by giving the correct answer. Overall, they give good cooperation when come to exercise time.

All of students continue doing exercises and copy down questions from the blackboard. They discuss among themselves by grouping and ask teacher if do not understand the questions. Teacher guides and monitors them.

At first, about 20 of the students get confuse with the kinetic theory of matter especially part force of attraction and also kinetic energy. Teacher explains several times with diagrams to get students understand better. Finally all of students are able to relate the forces of attraction with the kinetic energy of particles in matter. They also can describe the changes in state of matter very well because this is their prior knowledge. Today's objectives are achieved.

At first students get confuse about the formation of cation and anion. Teacher shows diagram and explains several examples to get them understand better. Finally 28 out of 29 students understand very well and able to do the formation of ionic bonds. One of the students is very hard to understand. Teacher gets to her in personally. Finally she is able to do the exercises given by teacher. Today's objectives are achieved.

All of students do the exercises given by teacher regarding statement and non-statement. Even though many exercises teacher gives on this subtopic but they are still weak. Only 3 of the students really master this subtopic. Teacher helps other by giving a lot of exercises to get them understand better and can differentiate between statement and non-statement.

In the beginning, all of students are very blur and do not understand what have been explained by teacher since it is the first time they learn about this. Teacher helps them by explain several times and give examples especially calculation part. Then only 25 of the students understand well and can do the exercises. Another 4 students are very weak and teacher discuss with them in a group. Teacher shows the calculations slowly to get them understand better. Finally all of students are able to complete the exercise correctly.
