Date | 18/4/2011 |
Time | 9.45 am - 10.55 am |
Class | 5 Science 2 |
Subject | Chemistry |
Theme | Interaction Between Chemicals |
Learning Area | Oxidation And Reduction |
Learning Objective | Analysing redox reaction |
Learning Outcome | Student is able to : f) Explain with examples oxidizing and reducing agents in redox reactions |
Activities | Collect and interpret data on oxidation, reduction, redox reaction, oxidising agent and reducing agent based on : |
Noble Values | Being thankful to God. |
Teaching Aids | a) Text book c) Practical book |
Reflection | At first students get confuse of redox reaction in term of loss or gain of oxygen and loss or gain of hydrogen. Teacher shows many examples to help them understand better. Teacher gives exercises to evaluate student's understanding. During discussion, teacher discovers that most of the students are able to identify which substance involves in oxidation, reduction process and which substance is oxidizing agent and reducing agent. Only two students still weak. Teacher helps both of them by teaching personally. |
Tuesday & Wednesday (19/4/2011-20/4/2011)
~ No P&P because teacher involves in handball games.
Date | 21/4/2011 |
Time | 8.15 am - 9.25 am |
Class | 5 K 8 |
Subject | Bahasa Melayu |
Theme | Simpulan Bahasa |
Learning Area | Simpulan Bahasa |
Learning Objective | Menambah pengetahuan tentang simpulan bahasa |
Learning Outcome | Pelajar memahami maksud setiap simpulan bahasa |
Activities | Berbincang tentang simpulan bahasa yang selalu digunakan di dalam ayat |
Noble Values | Menghargai kosa kata Bahasa Melayu |
Teaching Aids | Buku Latihan |
Date | 21/4/2011 |
Time | 9.45 am – 10.55 am |
Class | 4 Science 1 |
Subject | Chemistry |
Theme | Matter Around Us |
Learning Area | Chemical Bonds |
Learning Objective | Analysing properties of ionic and covalent compounds |
Learning Outcome | Student is able to : |
Activities | Collect and interpret data on properties of ionic and covalent compounds. |
Noble Values | Appreciating the contribution of science and technology. |
Teaching Aids | a) Textbook b) Reference book c) Power point presentation d) Workbook |
Reflection | Today's objectives are achieved. All of students understand well today lesson because they still remember the previous lesson. They just have to compare between ionic and covalent bond. After explanation by teacher with examples about the differences between ionic compound and covalent compound in terms of electrical conductivity, melting point, boiling point and solubility, students are able to explain back the main point. 4 of the students also able to state the uses of covalent compound as solvents. |
