Learning Objective
Synthesising Salts
Learning Outcome
Student is able to :
a) Describe the preparation of  insoluble salts
b) Write chemical and ionic equations for reaction used in the preparation of salts
c) Construct ionic equations through the continuous method
d) Solve problems involving calculation of quantities of reactants or products in stoichiometric reactions.
Activities
Discuss preparation of insoluble salts and solve problems.
Noble Values
Appreciating the balance of nature.
Teaching Aids
a) Textbook
b) Reference book
Reflection
Today’s objectives are not fully achieved. Students have difficulties in writing chemical equation. This is because they do not master the subtopic since learning from chapter 3. They only able to complete the equation with guidance from teacher. Teacher gives a lot of exercises involving chemical equation of salt formation to help them understand better.
