All of students show their interest towards today's experiment. 5 groups repeat the experiment A because they unable to capture the soot due to the distance of filter paper and the flame. Students are able to give correct answer for discussion questions and also able to calculate the percentage of Carbon in hexane and hexane. Students also can differentiate between hexane and hexane when it goes to reaction with bromine and acidified potassium manganate (VII) solution.

Students are able to give the correct answer for discussion part without help by teacher.

All of students are able to differentiate between the formation of ionic bond and covalent bond. However, during drawing the formation of covalent bond, teacher discovers that 5 of the students are slow and unable to do it properly. Teacher gets them into group and guides them properly. The thing that they really hard to do is when come to formation of double and triple bond. They seem very weak in order to complete the sharing and count the electrons that have to be shared. Teacher explains again with examples to make them understand better. Finally all of them are able to do the exercises given with correct answers. Today's objective is achieved.

In the beginning, all of students are very blur and do not understand what have been explained by teacher since it is the first time they learn about this. Teacher helps them by explain several times and give examples especially calculation part. Then only 25 of the students understand well and can do the exercises. Another 4 students are very weak and teacher discuss with them in a group. Teacher shows the calculations slowly to get them understand better. Finally all of students are able to complete the exercise correctly.
